Geotechnical study in Vilajuïga

In Vilajuïga, the predominant subsoil is composed mainly of granite, gneiss and other igneous rocks, accompanied in smaller proportions by overconsolidated clays and marls with a hard behaviour, as well as slates and schists that appear occasionally. These lithologies generally provide a high bearing capacity and low compressibility, which favours the use of shallow foundations in most situations.
