Types of ground in Villatuerta
In Villatuerta, the dominant bedrock is mainly composed of sandstones, conglomerates and flysch, which provides a solid and favourable foundation for the setting of structures. The occasional presence of fine sands and silts may require some caution in design, while the existence of outcrops of gypsum, anhydrite and salts indicates the need to assess the risk of dissolution in specific areas.
