In Saviñao, the ground is predominantly made up of sandstones, conglomerates and flysch, compact materials with a mostly detrital composition. These types of soil, characterised by their cohesion and limited deformability, provide adequate bearing capacity for conventional foundations, although it is essential to identify any possible areas with less consolidated interbeds.
