Geotechnical study in Caldes de Montbui

In Caldes de Montbui, the dominant geological substrate is mainly composed of sandstones, conglomerates and flysch, together with a significant presence of granite, gneiss and other igneous rocks. These materials usually provide good bearing capacity, ideal for the execution of shallow or semi-deep foundations, provided that the homogeneity and compaction of the ground are confirmed. Limestone formations, dolomites and marbles occur only occasionally, contributing to lithological diversity, but in a smaller proportion.
