Types of ground in Live
In Viver, the predominant substrate corresponds to limestones, dolomites and marbles, materials that cover most of the local geology and generally exhibit low near-surface permeability, although they may host aquifers at depth. The significant presence of gypsum, anhydrite and salts introduces the possibility of dissolution processes, which necessitates special attention when assessing ground stability and may limit bearing capacity in specific areas.
