Types of ground in Zuia
In Zuia, formations of limestones, dolomites and marbles predominate, constituting more than 70% of the subsoil, accompanied to a lesser extent by sandstones, conglomerates and flysch. These lithologies, typically hard, usually provide a good bearing capacity for shallow foundations, although the occasional presence of less competent strata makes it necessary to carry out specific on-site investigations.
