Types of ground in Villa del Prado
In Villa del Prado, schist and slate substrates predominate, together with significant outcrops of granite, gneiss and other igneous rocks, forming soils of high consistency and favourable bearing capacity for shallow and deep foundations. Sandstones and conglomeratic formations are found only occasionally, whereas the presence of loose soils such as compact gravels and sands is very limited.
