Types of ground in Urda
In Urda, formations of limestone, dolomites and marbles predominate, followed by compact gravels and sands, which provides a subsoil with good bearing capacity for conventional foundations. Soils of slate and schist are present only occasionally, while the occurrence of expansive clays is rare.
