Types of ground in Rubiá
In the municipality of Rubiá, the predominant substrate is made up of phyllites and schists, which together account for more than 80% of outcrops, accompanied in places by limestones, dolomites and marbles, and small proportions of compact gravels and sands. These rocks generally exhibit low permeability and often provide good bearing capacity for shallow or semi-deep foundations.
