In Nàquera/Náquera, the predominant ground is made up of fine sands and silts, materials with a granular texture that cover more than half of the territory. These soils, together with the frequent presence of sandstones, conglomerates and flysch, generally provide an adequate bearing capacity for shallow foundations, provided that their compactness is checked and that no zones of loss of strength associated with looser materials are detected.
