In Moral de Calatrava, limestone, dolomites and marbles predominate, accompanied by a significant presence of slates and schists, while compacted gravel and sand appear only occasionally. These formations, generally impermeable in nature or with very low permeability, offer a notable bearing capacity, allowing shallow foundations adapted to the prevailing lithology.
