Types of ground in Montemolín
In Montemolín, the geological substrate is formed mainly by slates and schists, accompanied in smaller proportions by granite, gneiss and other igneous rocks, as well as sandstones and conglomerates. These materials are characteristically compact and have low permeability, which limits the presence of deep aquifers and provides ground stability.
