Types of ground in Madrigal de las Altas Torres
In Madrigal de las Altas Torres, sandstones, conglomerates and flysch predominate, accompanied in significant proportions by shales and schists, whilst gravel and compacted sands are present only occasionally. These sedimentary materials give the ground a good overall bearing capacity, which favours the selection of shallow foundations.
