In Los Gallardos, fine sand and silt deposits predominate, which conditions the assessment of the ground’s bearing capacity. The possible presence of karst phenomena must be verified through specific studies before defining the foundation typology, as underground voids may exist in calcareous areas. Expansive clays appear in a subordinate manner and, according to the data, do not constitute a priority risk factor. Overall, the most relevant aspect for ground viability is checking for karst in calcareous soils.
