Estudio geotécnico in Gáldar

In Gáldar, granitic substrates predominate by a wide margin, along with gneisses and other igneous rocks, which provide a solid and stable geotechnical basis for shallow foundations, favouring a high bearing capacity and minimising the risks of differential settlement. Sandstones, conglomerates and flysch are rare, as are hard clays and marls, whose contribution to the overall ground behaviour as a foundation support is marginal. Although anthropogenic fill is present, it is scarce and should be examined on a case-by-case basis, as it may exhibit heterogeneity and lower competence for founding.
