The municipality of Alegría-Dulantzi is characterised mainly by a substrate dominated by limestones, dolomites and marbles, which make up almost 80% of the ground. These stone materials usually provide good bearing-capacity conditions, which is favourable for shallow or direct foundations in stable areas.
