Types of ground in Albalate de Zorita
In Albalate de Zorita, the ground is dominated by water masses that cover almost half of the surface area, together with occasional occurrences of hard materials such as limestones, dolomites, marbles and gypsum. The proportion of highly permeable and productive aquifers indicates that the bearing capacity may vary considerably depending on the groundwater level and the materials located at different depths. The gypsum, anhydrite and salt formations pose a risk of dissolution and will require specific analysis prior to any foundation work, taking into account also the compacted gravels and sands, although their presence is rather residual.
